Corporate support

As a local charity we value the support of local organisations, or local branches of national organisations. There are many different ways for both companies and staff to support Carers Centre.

It is likely that up to 1 in 10 of your employees, members and customers care for an adult in Telford and Wrekin so this is your opportunity to support them and other unpaid carers in the area.

Some of the ways your company can get involved:

Staff Fundraising

With benefits of increased staff motivation, communication and teamwork (not to mention the Tax incentives) for your company it is easy to see why a partnership with a local charity is a good idea.

In addition to this, increasing and inspiring leadership skills, confidence and creativity within your team are all benefits of working together for a good cause.
Whether your team are taking part in a national event or organising their own visit our Fundraising page for more information.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving allows your employees to give regular donations to Carers Centre straight from their pay packet. The gift is taken from their gross salary (before tax is
deducted), and they receive immediate tax relief of up to £4 for every £10 donated.

You can get all the information you need on Payroll Giving at
You will even get a Quality Mark for making the scheme available. It is free and easy to register then all your employees need to do is tell you how much they want to give and how often and all funds are distributed to charity on your behalf.

If you have decided to support us through Payroll Giving please let us know so we can thank you personally and be sure to send you up to date information for the Carers Centre.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Whether you are a local business, college, school or social group, Carers Centre are happy to come and talk to you and your organisation about the work we do and help identify any unpaid carers who have not recognised their role as a Carer and the support which is available to them.
