What would happen to them if something happened to you?

Telford and Wrekin Council and The Carers Centre; in joint partnership with Telford and Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group and Direct Health Homecare, have developed the Emergency Response Carers Service.

The Emergency Response Carers Service (ERCS) provides peace of mind when a crisis occurs, such as if you, the carer, fall ill or are in an accident.

This service means that the person you care for will not be left alone with no care and no-one knowing the situation. After registering for the service, the carer carries a card that will give access to free replacement home based support for up to 72 hours, in the event of an emergency.

The ERCS Assessment Officer is based at the Carers Centre. To register for this service or to find out more information, please contact Joan at the Carers Centre on 01952 458043 or email:
